Aprovar Consulting LLC (“Aprovar,” “we,” “us”) is a resilience, leadership and communication training and consulting firm based in Salt Lake City, Utah. This policy explains what information we collect, why, and the choices you have. It covers our website, aprovarconsulting.com, and the information we receive when you contact us or when your organization works with us on workshops, training, coaching or consulting.

The short version

  • Our website is simple. It has no forms, accounts, analytics, advertising or tracking cookies. The way to reach us from the site is by email.
  • When your organization works with us, we use the information we receive only to plan, deliver and follow up on that work.
  • We never sell your personal information, and we don't share it for advertising.
  • You can ask us to see, correct or delete your information anytime at hello@aprovarconsulting.com.

Information we collect and how we use it

1. When you email us

If you email hello@aprovarconsulting.com (including through the “Email” button in the Contact section of our site), or any other address at aprovarconsulting.com, we receive your email address, your name if you include it, and whatever you write. We use it to reply, answer your questions and talk with you about working together. Email sent to our addresses is routed by Cloudflare (Cloudflare Email Routing) and delivered to our Gmail inbox, provided by Google. Both process these messages on our behalf.

2. Clients and prospective clients

When you contact us on behalf of your organization, or your organization hires us, we collect business contact details such as your name, job title, organization, work email and any phone number you choose to share, along with what you tell us about your team, your goals and your schedule. We use this to respond, put together proposals, deliver and follow up on the work, manage our agreement, invoice you (clients pay by invoice), and keep ordinary business records. We don't use a CRM or email marketing service.

3. Workshop, training and coaching participants

If your organization signs you up for one of our workshops, courses or coaching sessions, we may receive information about you from your organization, and you may share information with us directly. See Training and coaching engagements below for how we handle it.

Training and coaching engagements

Our workshops, courses and coaching are built around real situations, so people often share a bit of themselves along the way. We want you to feel comfortable doing that.

  • What we may receive. To plan and run a session, the organization that arranged it may share participants' names, work email addresses and roles. During sessions, participants may share experiences, reflections, goals and challenges from their own work.
  • Limited use. We use this information only to prepare for, deliver and follow up on the engagement your organization arranged. We never use it for marketing, and we never sell it.
  • Share only what you're comfortable with. We don't need health or other sensitive personal information to deliver our training. Our training and coaching are not therapy, counseling or medical treatment.
  • What your organization receives. We typically share attendance and general summaries of the work with the organization that arranged it, unless we've agreed otherwise with that organization.
  • Your organization's agreement. Our agreement with your organization may include additional confidentiality terms. Where it does, those terms apply too.

Website visits

Our website is a single, simple site. It has no forms, accounts, logins, analytics, advertising or tracking pixels, and we don't use cookies. It uses your device's built-in fonts, and its images are served from our own site, not from third-party font or media services. When you visit:

  • Our site is hosted by Cloudflare, Inc. (Cloudflare Pages), which also provides our domain's DNS and security. Like any web host, Cloudflare automatically processes technical information such as your IP address, browser type and the pages requested, so it can deliver the site, keep it secure and diagnose errors. Cloudflare may also ask your browser to send it automatic network error reports (a standard feature called Network Error Logging) if the site fails to load. See the Cloudflare Privacy Policy.
  • To keep our email address away from spam bots, Cloudflare adds a small script that reveals the address in your browser. It doesn't track you.
  • Our site links to our company page on LinkedIn. We don't embed LinkedIn widgets or tracking on our site, but if you click through, LinkedIn's own privacy policy and cookies apply. See the LinkedIn Privacy Policy.

If we ever add analytics, cookies, online forms, a newsletter, online booking or payments, or an online course platform, we'll update this policy first.

How we share information

We do not sell, rent or trade your personal information, and we don't share it for advertising. We share information only:

  • With service providers who help us run our business, which today means our email provider (Google, through Cloudflare Email Routing) and our website host (Cloudflare), and only for those purposes. We don't use a CRM, email marketing or online course platform;
  • With the organization that arranged your training or coaching: typically attendance and general summaries of the work, unless we've agreed otherwise with that organization;
  • With our professional advisors, such as accountants or lawyers, when needed; and
  • When required by law, or to protect someone's safety or our legal rights.

Security

We use reasonable safeguards to protect your information. We limit access to the people who need it, keep our accounts secure, and use services that encrypt data by default, such as Google and Cloudflare. Our website is served only over a secure (HTTPS) connection. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure, so we can't guarantee absolute security. If a breach ever affects your personal information, we'll notify you as required by law.

How long we keep information

We keep personal information only as long as we need it for the purposes described here: to reply to you, to deliver and follow up on our work with your organization, and to keep the business, tax and legal records we're required to keep. After that, we delete it. We'll delete it sooner if you ask, unless we need to keep it for one of those record-keeping reasons, and we'll tell you if so.

Your choices and rights

You can email hello@aprovarconsulting.com at any time to:

  • Access the personal information we have about you, or get a copy of it;
  • Correct information that's inaccurate;
  • Delete your information (see How long we keep information); and
  • Opt out of emails from us that aren't part of an engagement you're in.

We'll respond within 30 days. We may need to confirm your identity before acting on a request. If your information came to us from your employer as part of a training engagement, we may also let them know about your request. We offer these choices to everyone, wherever you live.

If you're in the EU, UK or California

We're based in the United States, and we may work with clients and participants in other places. Here's what that means for you.

EU and UK (GDPR)

  • Your rights. You have the right to access, correct or delete your personal information, to restrict or object to how we use it, and to receive a copy in a portable format. You also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority.
  • Why we use your information (legal bases). We use it to deliver and manage our contract with you or your organization; for our legitimate interests in replying to inquiries, running our business and keeping records; and, where we ask for it, with your consent, which you can withdraw at any time.
  • International transfers. Your information is processed in the United States by us and our service providers, such as Google and Cloudflare.

California

We don't sell your personal information, and we don't share it for targeted advertising. California residents can ask us to access, delete or correct their personal information, and we won't discriminate against you for making a request.

How to use these rights

Just email hello@aprovarconsulting.com. We'll respond within 30 days, and we may need to confirm your identity first.

Children

Our website and services are for organizations and working professionals. They're not directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has sent us information, please email us and we'll delete it.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as our services or website change. When we do, we'll post the new version here with a new effective date.
